Our client, a fintech company is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant on part time basis (20 hours) to join their growing team.

Main responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including supplier invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
Perform month-end closing procedures and maintain accurate accounting records and master data.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and other management reports.
Prepare and review VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and other statutory submissions.
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments and compliance with applicable legislation.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow monitoring, and working capital management.
Coordinate annual external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial procedures.
Undertake additional duties as required by the Managing Director.

Requirements

3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Strong written and spoken English, with excellent drafting and communication skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
