Want to travel the world and sell Malta as the top place for business? We are looking for a high-energy Head of Business Development to help our client continue to grow globally. This is an exciting, active sales role for a natural networker who loves to travel, chase new leads, and close big deals.

What You Will Do

Targeting Rapidly Growing Economies: Research and map out foreign markets experiencing massive GDP spikes to locate fast-scaling tech companies, manufacturing giants, and booming startups.
Pitching Malta’s Jurisdictional Edge: Set up face-to-face meetings with international C-level executives to present Malta as a strategic gateway to the EU, highlighting its powerful full-imputation tax refund system.
Managing the Sales Funnel: Take complete ownership of the client journey from cold outreach, initial discovery calls, and technical proposals, all the way to final contract signatures.
Partnering with Intermediaries: Actively network with local and international Corporate Service Providers (CSPs), tax advisors, and cross-border law firms to create a robust mutual referral network.
Jurisdictional Networking: Attend high-level corporate events, international trade summits, and legal conferences to establish yourself as the go-to structural expert for companies moving to Malta.
Selling Yacht Registration Benefits: Target ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) and corporate fleet owners in booming economies to explain the massive asset protection advantages of flying the Maltese flag.
Pitching VAT Recovery Solutions: Clearly articulate Malta’s specific maritime laws, educating clients on how they can legally defer or get VAT back on commercial yacht setups and importations.
Executing Roadshows: Plan and execute frequent business trips and country-specific roadshows outside of Malta to pitch directly to client clusters in high-growth regions.
Representing the Firm: Serve as the global face of our business, presenting our 360-degree suite of corporate, legal, and compliance solutions on the international stage.

What We Are Looking For

A True Salesperson: You love the chase, you do not give up easily, and you have experience in corporate sales, finance, or wealth management.
Knowledge of Malta: You understand why Malta is great for business, including its tax system and yacht registration benefits.
Ready to Travel: You are excited to travel frequently across the EU and around the world to meet clients face-to-face.

Requirements

A solid foundational understanding of Malta’s corporate landscape, including its attractive tax architecture and full-imputation system.
Ability to confidently discuss high-level corporate setups, holding companies, and asset protection frameworks with tax advisors and C-level executives.
Highly proactive, resilient, thick-skinned, and genuinely love the thrill of the chase.
Total willingness and flexibility to travel frequently outside of Malta, both within the EU and across fast-growing global markets.

Education and Experience

MUST: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in high-level business development, sales origination, or strategic B2B partnerships.
MUST: Experience working within Corporate Service Providers (CSPs), international law firms, private wealth management, or maritime/yachting brokerages.
