Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping duties
Process accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare bank reconciliations, supplier and customer reconciliations, and other control account reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and reports
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist with VAT returns, tax compliance, and other statutory reporting requirements
Process payments and maintain accounts payable and receivable records
Liaise with clients, auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other third parties as required
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis where required
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
Assist with payroll processing where applicable
Contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls
Support the finance team with additional accounting and administrative duties as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is considered an asset (junior, mid-level, and senior profiles are encouraged to apply)
ACCA qualification (or equivalent), currently in progress, or fully qualified, depending on experience
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Knowledge of VAT, taxation, and statutory compliance will be considered an asset
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous professional development
Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues
A valid driving licence is considered an asset but is not essential
